Gail has spent a lifetime living and building her faith, loving her family and her dogs. As a registered nurse, she’s worked in a variety of areas in the hospital, in home care, and hospice. She also taught nursing students for twenty years. Since retiring, she’s resumed her work in nursing on a part-time basis. First as a nurse in hospice during the years of COVID-19, and currently as a Health Promotion Specialist. Gail combines her personal and professional experiences when working with therapy dogs. Gail is a long-time therapy dog evaluator for the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
Gail is active in her church and continues to grow her faith. She continues to be in awe of the doors that God opens when we listen and hear His call. She is a member of Christian Writers and Speakers groups, both locally and nationally.
Gail currently resides with David, her husband of forty-five years, and Sadie, her third golden retriever and therapy dog, in Wisconsin. Her hobbies include snowbirding in Gulf Shores, AL, during the cold Wisconsin winters, traveling, gardening, therapy dog work, and spending time with family and friends.
